Wimbledon Arts Trail

This year, I had the pleasure of taking part in the Wimbledon Arts Trail as part of the Merton Arts Festival. I opened my home and studio to visitors, and also hosted two fantastic artists (Dana Megan Marchant and Rebecca Shillingford) who showcased their work in the garden.

A heartfelt thank you to the eighty wonderful visitors who stopped by Venue 21 - your kind words, enthusiasm, and support (both emotional and financial) meant the world to us. A big shoutout as well to Common Works Gallery for bringing this vibrant community event to life with Merton Arts Festival.

Spending the weekend surrounded by like-minded creatives, sharing stories, and basking in the sunshine made for an unforgettable experience. I’ve come away feeling inspired, energised, and full of new ideas!

In the lead-up to the event, I had the pleasure of being visited by Joey Toogood, who captured my work through her lens and created a beautiful video. Our conversation flowed effortlessly - from the creative process to the challenges and joys of making a life as an artist. Seeing what caught her attention in my studio was a fascinating experience in itself.

This weekend reminded me why I do what I do - here’s to more art, more community, and more creative adventures ahead!

These are some of the beautiful photos Joey took of my work in my home and studio:
