1. Introduction

Welcome to Hags Pottery ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our online shop, accessible via www.hagspottery.org, and the purchase of any goods made through this website. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Ordering Process

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock shortages, or suspected misuse.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. The contract between you and us is formed when you receive this confirmation.

3. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order. We use Squarespace Payments as our payment solution. We accept payment by major Credit and Debit Cards (like Visa, Mastercard, American Express (AMEX), and Discover) and Digital Wallets (like Apple Pay).

All prices listed are in GBP (£) and inclusive of applicable UK VAT, where relevant. Prices are subject to change without notice.

4. Collection of Orders

All orders must be collected in person from:
Hags Pottery, 9 Orchard Lane, West Wimbledon, London SW20 0SE
annabel@hagspottery.org

Customers must contact us to arrange a date and time to pick up their order, as stated on our website.

Orders should be collected within 14 days of receiving your collection notification email. Unclaimed orders may be subject to cancellation or disposal without refund.

5. Returns and Exchanges

We hope you will be delighted with your purchase. However, if you wish to return an item, returns are accepted within 14 days of collection for items that are unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.

Please note:

  • Custom or made-to-order items are non-returnable, unless faulty.

  • Sale or discounted items (e.g. Seconds) are final sale and cannot be returned.

We strongly advise inspecting your pottery at the time of collection.

If a fault is discovered after collection, you must contact us within 48 hours, providing your order details and photographs of the item in question. We will review the case and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, refund, or store credit.

Return delivery is not available, and items must be returned to the studio in person.

6. Product Descriptions

All items are handmade and unique; slight variations in size, shape, colour, and finish are to be expected and form part of the character of handmade pottery. Photographs on our website are illustrative and may not exactly represent the piece you receive.

7. Warranties and Liability

Hags Pottery provides all products 'as is' and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the items sold, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or durability.

We accept no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses once items have been collected. Our liability for any product acquired through this website is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product.

We take care to ensure that all pottery is made to a high standard. If your item is found to be faulty on collection or within 48 hours thereafter, we will review the matter in line with our Returns and Exchanges policy.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal data, such as your name, email address, and phone number, solely for the purpose of processing and managing your order, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using this website and placing an order, you agree to the terms set out in our Privacy Policy.
